[mythtv-users] Advice on setting up Frontend with both WiFi & Powerline Ethernet?

Update:  Moving the powerline adapter off of the powerstrip to a standard
wall jack did the trick.  Hadn't thought of it, but essentially, the
powerstrip (with surge protection) acts as a low-pass filter and that is
definitely bad for ethernet traffic.

Also, remembered the "other" thing that had been part of my problem with
this particular frontend.  The particular powerline adapter set I'm using
has a "power-saving" feature that shuts down the link if there's no one
talking to it on both ends.  Thus, with the frontend shutdown, there's no
way to wake it because the link is down until the PC is awake.  Duh!  I
fixed this by putting an ethernet switch on that end between the powerline
adapter and the PC since the switch uses less power than the powered up PC
would.
