Hi Devin,

Still same situation I described before, though kaffeine performs worse
(skipping frames).

This is linux mint with kernel 3.7.0-030700,
mythtv 0.26 the backend is set up as a slave.

I do notice that the firmware seems to be reloaded frequently for xc5000
