you can have sources (like i have) where you get data for some channels 
from xmltv and via eit for the others (exclusive).

not really needed, you can set the correct xmltvid AND useonairguide = 0 
for the former ones (xmltv) and xmltvid = '' AND useonairguide = 1 (eit) 
for the latter ones to get correct guide data.

if a tuner is idle for at least X minutes (X = backend setting, iirc 
default value was 5) the eit grabber starts to scan all your 
transponders where at least one visible channel with useonairguide=1 
exists.
