[mythtv-users] Hardware and software battles

So maybe the bug with MythTV and analog channel changes is not the same as
what I am seeing, since I can change channels on my default card all day
without problems, but if I switch to a second or third PVR-150, I get
distorted video, stuttering, or dumped to the menu with errors. The
work-a-round in the bug tracker seems to indicate you can avoid the issue by
changing a channel on a digital tuner first. Then the other analog tuners
will work. But I hear other stories, so maybe there is more than one issue
at play here. Would be nice to figure out what it is so I could just use
MythTV version 0.24.1.

I have 1.5 PVR-500's working fine under 0.24.1-27-g30993d6, which is mostly
like 3 PVR-150's. (One of the two tuners on one PVR-500 went on permanent
vacation.)

The ATSC tuners in my HVR-2250 work well, but the analog side - not so much.
There seems to be a common problem with input switching when going from
digital to analog on a 2250 tuner that yields a blue recording.
