After reading the deadlock thread, maybe the storm didn't cause the issue
and it was just a coincidence.  Sunday morning was when we started to
miss recordings and I updated to
0.25.0+fixes.20120630.65913e7-0ubuntu0mythbuntu4 about 2012-06-30
