I worked on radar systems in the late 60's. We were always told to assume a 3db
loss for any connector inserted into a test line.
It's an adapter, not a stub. There's no cable involved here, just a turned metal
interface. My biggest concern is that the small connector into the back of the
USB dongle will be the one that falls out when I push the server back into the
cupboard. Fortunately, not happened yet.
