"Why climb that mountain?" "Because it's there!"

I have a separate Blu-Ray player on the tv, and I rip all my purchased DVDs
to mp4 using Handbrake and MakeMKV (I switched from mkv to mp4 because my
new iPad + the explayerHD app will hardware-accelerate the videos streaming
from my NAS). But the idea of a built-in solution to Myth that could be
transparent to the end user is A) really cool and B) would help with the
FAF (Friend appreciation factor). This is one of those times I wish I could
write code because it seems like a possible solution is within reach.
