mythstatus.py was broken by the removal of the python-gnomeapplet in ubuntu 11.10
I have not figured out how to fix this yet.

The correct link to this is:
http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/Mythstatus.py

but since it currently does not work, it won't do you much good.
