Note for others not familiar with the Fedora naming, that
the FC15 kernels named 2.6.40 or later are really 3.x
kernels.  The 2.6 names were maintained due to some
string 2.6 checks in the codes of the packages.  So,
for FC15, one has to be a little careful if one needs to
avoid some 3.x kernel.

Anyway, since this appears to be a kernel issue (the problem
was reproduced outside of MythTV), one should be working
upstream, and first searching the redhat bugzilla, and if nothing
is found, open a new ticket so that it can be tracked as a
kernel issue.
