[mythtv-users] sms style t9 ish text entry

Hi List

Ive been a user of myth for sometime and remember there was an option to
enable a T9 type sms text entry so can use the number keys on the remote
which have letters underneath them.  Much like sending sms text message.
Some friends recently got a tivo with virgin media subscription and you can
use this sms type entry on the remote and its so much more efficient.  Ive
noticed many other media centre apps also have this option and I find it
takes so long moving around the virtual keyboard.

Is there a way to enable this in mythtv? Any reason why its no longer
included?
