means it's not using the CableCard. To my knowledge, CableCard uses channel numbers, QAM uses frequencies. You should probably verify that your CableCard is correctly inserted and fully activated with your cable company. If you have a Windows machine on the same network, the SiliconDust diagnostic tool can help you with the status and configuration (I think there's also a Mac tool). Karl
