[mythtv-users] Alternative for dicing .VOB needed

I have a .vob file that I only want to keep from +2:37 (mm:ss) to the
end of the file and I'd like it converted to .mp4 (.m4v) while i'm at
it (with reduced storage requirements).  I tried using Handbrake, but
it seems to not recognize the contents of the .vob file.  I've looked
at acidrip, but it doesn't offer any way to strip out the first two
and a half minutes (more or less).  Any other suggestions would be
welcome.
