Hello Gordon,

Thanks very much for the reply.

I probably should have been a bit clearer.

The TV's 'file browser' can see the files on the USB drive.  It just when I
try to play them. It says 'Can't read file'.

And yet, if those recorded programs are on the IDE drive. They can be
played.
