[mythtv-users] Cant add channel linup on fresh installs

I believe you said you tried using a different mythbuntu CD?  If not,
perhaps you have a corrupted download?

This honestly makes no sense... I can't imagine that if it were widespread,
you would be the only one talking about it.

Have you tried running mythtv-setup before downloading any updates or
waiting until after all updates have been applied (which ever is different
than you have been doing it)?

Are you using the mythbuntu 0.25-fixes repositories/nightly builds... they
work for me?

Perhaps its something to do with the way your configuring your drives... I
assume that /tmp has plenty of space... perhaps some mount option is out of
whack?

Have you tried configuring the backend using the mythbuntu livecd?  (I
believe it can be done).
