My master backend and primary development servers are both running
CentOS 5.x, so it's not being 'abandoned' anytime soon. I wouldn't
recommend running a frontend on CentOS 5.x, but it works pretty good
for a backend. I have Qt 4.7.4 and Python 2.6.4 installed from RPMs
found on the net. I've used HDHR3-CC, HDHR3, and the original HDHR
for all of my content for the past few months, but prior to that I was
also using a pair of air2pc ATSC cards and several AverMedia M179 ivtv
compatible cards.
