[mythtv-users] My falling out with comcast: they're "banning" direct connections

Yep.  With both the TV and the HDHR.  Both were still missing the
channels even after the scan.

None.  Cable goes straight to the TV (in one case, it goes through a
powered splitter too; but I removed that just to be sure it wasn't the
splitter).

I agree.  I couldn't figure it out.  It made no sense to me.  But the
comcast reps made even less sense.
