FWIW, since this one has been mentioned a couple of times, let me just 
say that there's only so much Robert can do about this.  As the wiki 
screenshots show, Robert specified a different date/time format for 
MythTV (03.09.2012, 18:55)--much shorter than the extremely long one 
you've specified.

What Stuart M did for Terra--to make sure the date always fit (well, 
"always" when using English, at least--other languages may not fit)--was 
to explicitly specify the date format in the theme for the clock shown 
by the theme.  Of course, the "thanks" he got for fixing "date/time gets 
cut off" was, "Terra is broken because it doesn't use my date/time 
format for its clock!"

Anyway, Robert might be able to add some more space for the date/time, 
but doing so may also throw off the design he was going for with the 
screen title placement (not to mention adding more space for the 
date/time looks like a not-trivial change with the theme design).  So, 
just a couple things to think about--and a potential workaround for 
you:  either change to the date/time format he's using or encode a 
shorter date/time format into your copy of the theme (so that it's only 
the "in-theme" date/time format that differs from your specified one).

Oh, and BTW, Robert--the theme looks great!  Thanks for all the work on it.
