[mythtv-users] Is there a way to update recordedmarkup for an existing recording?

This is a bit arcane but someone may know the answer.  I have used 
MythArchive create/import archive and rsync to move recordings from one 
machine to another, but the Ticket #10871 bug in the field definitions 
means that recordedmarkup doesn't get updated.  The transferred 
recording plays but isn't recognised as being present when there is a 
repeat broadcast. The correct solution would be to repair the bad table 
definitions, but is there a workaround?   mythcommflag --rebuild didn't 
do it.
