To anyone's knowledge, has this been scripted up into something
callable either from the frontend or as a command line script callable
from a button press or other mechanism?

I'd like to be able to temporarily lock the tuner connected to a STB
to use that STB for other purposes (e.g. on-demand content) and then
return it to MythTV control and some later time (perhaps automatically
after some time).

It looks like writing a script for this shouldn't be that hard. I was
just wondering if someone had already done it or not.

Thanks,

Eric
