Yes, thanks for digging it out.  As I thought, you can leave out most of 
the parameters and it should still produce something useful.  But I 
would still like to know what it will actually use in that case;  read 
the standards or the code, I suppose.

I ought to look at the built-in transcoding options again too; I'm 
surprised that no-one has pointed to just what the OP wanted.

And perhaps it's worth adding this, to  back up suspicions that 
something has been amiss, somewhere, with 'the system' today.  It took 
11 hours for my post to come back to me.
