While you are discovering useful keys, the I (Info) key also works in
lots of places.  And you can see (and change) all the key bindings
from here:

  Setup > Edit Keys

One I think I had to bind for myself that I find I am using all the
time is Ctrl-Alt-G to go directly to the Program Guide.  Keys that go
directly somewhere are called JumpPoints.
