To follow up, it looks like somewhere along the way, the functionality for
metadata images and videos combined with storage groups was changed because
the behavior used to work for me.

I have a MBE and SBE each with a locally mounted video directory registered
as a storage group. I also had a full set of image directories (coverart,
fanart, etc.) on both servers as storage groups. At some point, both were
properly downloading and displaying images with the images residing in the
respective server's image directories depending on where the video was
located. Current behavior is that the storage group on the MBE is working
as expected with image metadata while the SBE is not. I have worked around
this with an NFS mount of the SBE video directory on the MBE and removing
all the storage groups from the SBE.

Raymond, should I be able to have multiple video directories as storage
groups spanning multiple servers?
