Its not to bad of a signal.

I know that the PCIe version of the InfiniTV is sensitive to high temps.
My observation is above 55C is a bad thing. not sure if the usb version is
the same.

I am going to point you too another thread with lots of good reading
related to the InfiniTV. However, that thread is geared to the InfiniTV and
window media center. Still it has loads of info about
signal strength and improving it.
