The Auto bandwidth just defaults to 8MHz which is used by the 
transponder. Changing the setting around from Auto <-> 8MHz makes no 
difference.
New thread is on a slightly different take, namely low-bit-rate issue 
possibly related to my original problem of "Error Jump to Programme File."
