 Ok I will give it a go.

 This is most of what I hope is the salient information from the LVM Tool in
Fedora:

Volume Groups
  vg_scimythtv
    Physical View
      /dev/sda
        Partition 2
         This is the large HD and contains:
           lv_root - 2560 extents
           lv__storage - 230400 extents
           lv_root - 5456 extents
      /dev/sdb
        Partition 1
         This is the small HD and contains:
           lv_root - 17810 extents
           unused space - 1 extents
           lv_swap - 1268 extents
    Logical View
      lv__storage
      lv_root
      lv_swap
Uninitialized Entries
  /dev/sda
    Partition 1
      This again is the small HD and its properties are:
        Size: 0.20GB
        Partition Type Linux (0x83)
        Mount Point: /boot
        Mount Point when Rebooted: None
        File System: Ext4
        SCSI WWID: 1ATA WDC WD10EARS-00Y5B1

 Because when I came to set the system up it was really the first time I had
used Linux in anger unusually I didn't go down the route of choosing an advanced
install and just accepted the options it presented. So this is how it chose to
set up the drives.

 For a moment when I first booted the machine after the install I actually thought
it hadn't seen one of the drives!

 It think what I want to do in an ideal world is shuffle everything on to the large
drive which has more than enough space to store it then I have a blank small drive
I can install the OS and Myth onto. I can get it all working and the restore the DB

 This allows me to maintain all the old data in case I have a serious problem I
should then just be able to move everything back.

 So any advice on a good partitioning tool for Fedora that will allow me to do that
would be great. I see there are several in the package installer but which one to
choose.
