Yes I was looking for a fast boot disk option ... currently in the slave
I have a 1Tb disk for slave recordings. I boot into ubuntu from a iscsi
disk < 13Gb. The computer is used as a slave (with sat/dvb-t2
tuners)/mythfrontend.

Therefore I was looking for a fast ssd device to replace the 13Gb iscsi
disk. The 1Tb recording disk is as used as a cache, rather than network
storage. In fact I have a job to sync recordings to the network if I
want to view them without the slave being powered on. I therefore have
one disk in the computer, but virtually I have another which gives me -
a boot and a storage disk.

What I am trying to do is minimise the time to boot for my partner.
