[mythtv-users] MythMusic: can't play / rip CDs

Hello,


I have just installed Mythtv and am slowing getting things to work.
I'm using Linux Mint Debian Edition, which essentially is Debian
testing. Mythtv is v0.26.

One thing which doesn't work, however, is ripping CDs. When I hit the
"Import CD" button, nothing happens at all. Here is a little bit of
debugging info from the frontend:

I have switched off any automatic playing of CDs with other
applications, but a desktop icon is still created. The CD will play
fine in a bog-standard CD player or any other computer, even on the
Mythtv box with other software. Also, I can easily play DVDs using the
same drive.


Any clues?
