Hi;

Short answer: no.

I have a tablet and see the same thing, in the 'landscape' view. If you
turn it 90 degrees, the big space goes away. You then see more episodes
and shows on the screen.

Also, you didn't mention anything about banners or coverart. But they replace
the names of the shows and appear to the left of the descriptions respectively.
So we could be talking about different empty space sizes.
