   Except the answer to the question involves ALL of those things.

   You are sharing a transport medium with ALL of your neighbors.

   That's what wireless is. This stuff can work under ideal conditions if
you are lucky. Results are so unpredictable that no one can really tell
you if it will work well in your particular circumstances.

    It's just the nature of the technology.
