I've just applied the fix to 0.26-fixes :)

The original commit didn't apply cleanly to fixes because of some 
conflicts which is probably why Stuart didn't backport it. Hopefully I 
haven't broken anything in the process of fixing the conflicts. I'm sure 
I'll hear about it if I did :)
