i did notice one odd thing, not sure how to follow it up with the
mythbuntu folks.
The commit message to 0.26-fixes (2ed4e29) didn't end up in the
changelog.Debian.gz though all the other recent changes did. I checked
all of the myth* and libmyth* packages as well as mythnews.

The changelog I have (/usr/share/doc/mythnews/changelogDebian.gz)
looks like this:

mythtv (2:0.26.0+fixes.20130502.b02d25a-0ubuntu0mythbuntu1) precise; urgency=low

  * Automated Build: New upstream checkout (b02d25a)
