[mythtv-users] compile problem

I am trying to compile 0.25.3 from source on a ubuntu raring install. It
is going on a nettop used as a frontend only and I want to use the new
amd uvd vdpau code. When I use configure with vdpau enabled flag,
configure returns vdapu=no. vdapuinfo shows all of the vdpau codecs
active and in mplayer the vdpau codec works as expected. There is no
repository i can find for 0.25 for raring. My backend runs mythbuntu
with 0.25 and I'd rather not change that as it works really well for me.
I built mesa using the instructions in these two links:

http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=news_item&px=MTM1NDk

http://x.debian.net/howto/build-mesa.html

The uvd is working properly as reported by dmesg and mplayer.

I also get opengl video=no from the configure and it looks like maybe
that is required to support the vdpau.

Can anyone point me in the direction to get the configure to allow the
vdpau to build. Thanks.
