Not full of BS... just oversimplifying things.  For example, the ceton
device doesn't actually record anything, it just passes it along.  If your
Cable Company DVR allows you to record a particular channel, then Windows
MCE will record it via the Ceton device.

The problem is that Mythtv is not Windows MCE, and Ceton only supports
Windows MCE so any claims that they make are assuming that your using the
supported software, not something else.

I wonder how many other people know that you can only watch the

Most probably don't care... those that do wake up real quick and join the
anti DRM crowd.  Keep in mind that that restriction only applies to some
channels (varies by carrier and locale)
