SOLVED. :)

Ok, I have it working!!

Ireally do not know what I did. I did go in and updated my hosts files
on my mythtv boxand firewall/router box to reflect the ip of the
smartphone.

Using Mythtv for android, I installed vplayer and had to manually
configure the address instead of having it scan for backends. The scan
for backends for some reason does not work for me. But, After manually
configuring this (which I tried before and didnt work) it actually
started working!

The quality of the playback on my Galaxy II is pretty darn good. No sync
problems. Im connected thru my wireless router.

Thankyou, Thankyou, Thankyou! For everyones help in getting this worked
out. Now I feel so spoiled, I have my ceton card running with myth .26
and able to watch tv anywhere in the house and backdeck. :) Life is good!

Best Regards,

coffee
