Hi,

So recently I have noticed that Myth failed to record a number of shows that had previously worked fine. I had added some more storage recently, so I thought I must have messed something up - and thus went and checked the logs, and saw this...

Nov 15 21:00:00 HTPC mythlogserver: mythbackend[3335]: I Scheduler scheduler.cpp:2649 (HandleRecordingStatusChange) Tuning recording: Grimm:"One Night Stand": channel 2081 on cardid 1, sourceid 2

Nov 15 21:01:22 HTPC mythlogserver: mythbackend[3335]: N HDHRStreamHandler dtvsignalmonitor.cpp:354 (HandlePMT) DTVSM(101C34A6-1): PMT says program 1 is encrypted

Hmmm... I'm seeing encrypted all over the place. People on this list had mentioned something about Comcast doing more encrypting. Let's check Livetv, ok that works fine. Plus the encrypting Comcast is doing, shouldn't affect me... Oh wait, this is on cardid 1 - which is my HDHR, not my Prime (with cablecard).

This all leads to my question. I have a Prime and I have a HDHR - how to I ensure encrypted shows are recorded on the Prime vs the HDHR? Is there a way for Myth to check against all available tuners if it runs into an encrypted show? What would be my best course of action to avoid missing recordings?

Thanks in advance
