Well, MythTV just dumps whatever data it's given, so if it's a problem 
with the recording, it's a problem with something else (i.e. HDHR, 
antenna/cable signal quality, ...).  Play back the recording in some 
other player (like MPlayer or xine or--even better--on a completely 
separate computer, ideally with Windows) and if it's pixelated there, 
too, it's not MythTV.
