Yes.  But at present HD programmes duplicate the main SD channels, where 
compression is usually less severe.  When I created a DVD from a 
recording processed with the command line from #11297 I saw very little 
difference - at least from a normal viewing distance.  It could be 
worthwhile in some circumstances.

Running the command from MythArchive but omitting the -copyts option 
seems to work.  Should be fixable in the encoder options.
