While every franchise is "special", in Time Warner
land almost everything is marked Copy Once, with
the (usual) exception of the OTA channels (although
there have been reports on other lists that that is not
always true either).

So, MythTV and QAM/CableCard tuners are of
very limited value in Time Warner land (at best
you can get the OTA channels).  Only solutions
that support content encryption (such as TiVo,
WMC, and TWC's own STBs) can record most
content on Time Warner.

The *usual* fallback if one is stuck with TWC
is the HD-PVR using the analogue hole.  See
