Having read one of your replies to Phil I'm guessing that we have a 
major disconnect in this dialog.

If you are using the Cmyth add-on in OpenELEC then you must also have a 
MythTV backend installed and running on a different machine from the one 
OpenELEC is on. If you have a MythTV backend running on a different 
machine then the Config page of your Cmyth add-on needs to have the 
correct details for that backend machine. Two of the entries on that 
page are unique, the IP address of the machine running the MythTV 
backend and the password for the database on that machine.
