Windows 8 as well.  There is a simple hack you can do if you mount the 
win8 partition from a *nix box and then you have unlimited admin access 
to the entire win8 box.

That's how I "rooted" my own win8 box after we forgot the admin password 
(shows you how often we boot into windows.....)
