De nada, I like puzzling. After the reboot check the simlink in /dev
if /dev/lircd now points to the new socket it should work, but I think
a new simlink will be created /dev/lircdSerial or none at all.
You have to point mythtv to the new socketfile. either /dev/lircdSerial
or /var/run/lirc/lircdSerial. Also when testing with irsend add
-d /var/run/lirc/lircdSerial to the commandline.
Probably the old socketfile will be still there for the other lirc0.
