It means that if safe_read encounters EOF, all further attempt will
fail. When watching liveTV it means it will exit after 360ms before
doing it again (when ringbuffer calls safe_read() once again)

In practice, it doesn't really matter as 360ms is nothing with the
type of bitrate seen in live TV.

It will be corrected of course though
