[mythtv-users] Mythbackend fails to open port 6543

Hi, I seem to have messed up my fixes/0.27 setup. Don't ask me what I did,
but it may have been that I have changing some hostname. Anyway, I hope to
find someone that can help me debug the problem!
mythfrontend reports that it cannot connect. And since I cannot even telnet
to localhost 6543 I see that something is wrong...

So. in mythtv-setup I have set ipv4 address and main server address to
127.0.0.1.

/etc/hostname is mint15

I read somewhere that a problem could be that the settings table in the
mythconverg database had wrong hostname after changing those. Some
differed, so I have changed all called 'phssd' to mint15. All NIL or
'localhost' etc I left alone. It did not work before this change, and I
have backups. But it did not work anyway.

I have tried to use the external address 192.168.1.9 in both places in
mythtv-setup, but nothing there i either.

mythbackend -v all --loglevel debug shows that it connects to the database
and tries to fire up the server:

master server.*
(full mythbackend log can be found at http://pastebin.com/5wU0XX6r)

It may very well be that something else is wrong with the backend, as it
seems to be stuck at the line
*2014-01-10 21:15:17.548858 I TVRec[1]: Start channel: 1090.*
*2014-01-10 21:15:17.548881 I TVRec[1]: CreateChannel(1090)*
*2014-01-10 21:15:17.622781 I New Client: (#1)*

I have searched high and low to try and find someone in a similar
situation, but I can't find a solution. I fear that I may have stumbled
across a solution, but not fixed stuff in all the places. So does anyone
have an idea as to where I may venture?

(FWIW, I am using a virtual adapter if that may have something to do with
it. I don't think it does, is just stopped working after a boot (IIRC, long
time since it started). I pay for the channels, too)
