Hmm, that does predate me by a little, so the reference is mostly lost.

I really didn't think the motherboard swap was relevant since it was
hours before the recording and I thought everything was back to
normal.  I didn't know about the clock skew until looking over the
logs again this morning.  After I fixed the network problem, which I
was expecting, ntp automatically fixed the clock without my
involvement.  It was only up with the wrong time for a couple of
minutes.

Thanks to you both, that does explain it.  Now I just need to explain
it to my wife.  She's convinced our mythtv hates her.
