Your problems sound so bizarre, that I'd look for version and schema
mismatches first among the MythTV binaries, libraries and mythweb.
Regarding your last comment, it looks like mythweb has misled you.
For manual recordings, the subtitle is always replaced with the
scheduled recording starttime.
