[mythtv-users] which transcoder with playlists?

So, when I go to the Job Options menu for a single recording there is a
Begin Transcoding menu which lets me choose which transcoding profile to
use.

However when I go to the Job Options menu for a playlist I only get an
option to begin transcoding and don't get the menu of transcoding
profiles to choose which kind of transcode I want to apply to the
playlist.  Presumably it chooses the "Default" transcoder.  But still,
which is the default?  Is it the "Autodetect from <file_type>"?

Is this a defect or intentional behavior?
