mythfrontend version: fixes/0.27 [v0.27-178-g6b14852] www.mythtv.org F19
x86_64 local build based on modified rpmfusion specfile
I don't usually play in-progress or unprocessed radio recordings, but
atop is now showing 98% CPU load, mostly as 'idle'. No visualiser
active, blank screen.
Playing an SD TV recording shows load typically around 25%. nVidia
304.119, GeForce 7500LE, no VDPAU. The audio sounds fine, and keyboard
response is quick.
I had started this with the intention of trying the GOOM visualiser,
which still gets disabled, in frontend playback, after a few seconds.
Is the CPU load effect likely to be fixed by today's 'low bitrate'
commit c64141b0c0b7118ee28be2441374727a1af7c44c ?
