Oh, and I meant to say that you can set the "Time to retain deleted 
recordings (days)" to any value, then can go into Watch Recordings, 
change to the Deleted recording group (as above), and delete 
shows--which will remove them from disk immediately.  So just because 
you want to be able to figure out how much space is left after deleting 
some shows every once in a while when you're managing space, you don't 
need to keep the retention setting at 0.

You can even select the Deleted recording group in the left column of 
Watch Recordings, then MENU|Add this Group to Playlist, then 
MENU|Playlist Options|Delete to remove all the Deleted recordings in one 
fell swoop.
