[mythtv-users] HD channels not working

Ran backend in a console and all I get is:

2014-05-16 21:30:59.488464 I  TVRec[1]: HW Tuner: 1->1

Space: 3.0 GB w/freq: 14 min

mythfildatabase seems to run correctly, the program listing are all there.

I even tried a clean Mythbuntu install on an old laptop and it does exactly
the same thing. I really don't understand what's wrong here.
