Just quick Q regarding playback on Intel VAAPI: did anybody uses 
separate Video/GUI modes with Intel HW?
Mine NUC53427 - if separate Video/GUI modes is enabled - has all content 
video playback shifted down vertically approx 200px.
GUI is OK. Only video playback is shifted.
Issue is only on 1080p TV (I checked on 2 TVs).
On 1280x1024 LCD monitor all is OK.

BTW: I fully agree with JYA: today still nothing is even close to nvidia 
regarding video playback...
